复习as 要点 (适合高二、高三学生使用)

I．as用作介词，常与一些动词或介词构成固定搭配，
act---as (扮作) consider---as (把…看作) describe---as (把…描述成) look on---as (把…看作) regard---as (把…看作) remember---as (作为…记住) serve / work---as (担任；充当) see---as (把…看作) think of---as (把…看作) treat---as (把…看作) regard ...as（把…看作） use---as (用作) such as (例如) as usual (像往常一样) as for (至于；关于) as with (正像…一样) as good as (和…一样好；实际上) as long as (和…一样长；只要) as far as (和…一样远；就…所知) as well as (和…一样好；也;又) as soon as (一…就) as many / much as (多达) so as to do sth (为了做某事)
eg 1. The man works as a cook.
2. We see Tom as our best friend.
3. As with hiking, hunting is also fun and interesting.
II．as 用作关系代词引导定语从句
(1) as既可以引导限制性定语从句，引导限制性定语从句常出现一些特殊结构
( the same … as ; such… as ; as… as ; not as / so …as )
4. The boy has the same pen as that girl does.
5. She is such a kind girl as everybody likes.
6. This is not as hard a question as that one.
(2) as 还可以引导非限制性定语从句。as引导非限制性定语从句时，as 引导的从句常位于主句之首，译作：正如；正像 常用句式As you know ；As we all know As is clear......等等。
eg 7. As you know, seeing is beleiving.
8. As is clear to us all, attitude is everything.
III．as用作连词， 引导并列句
eg 9. A house is to a man what / as a nest is to a bird.
10. Our eating habits have changed, as has the way of our life.
IV．as 用作连词，引导状语从句
A )．as引导时间状语从句，译作:随着…的推移; 一边…一边;当…时候
eg. 11. As time went by, the boy grew up.
12. The students were singng as they were walking.
13. As a child, she liked music very much.
B )．as引导原因状语从句, 译作: 因为
eg. 14. As you come, help me ,please!
15. As he was not feeling well，I decided to go there alone．
由于他身体欠佳，我决定独自去那里。
C )．as引导让步状语从句, 译作:虽然；尽管 (从句须用半倒装)
eg.16. Clever boy as he is , he knows a lot.
17. Try as she may, she can’t be successful.
18. Tired as he was, he went on working.
19. Much as she likes the dress, she has no money to buy it.
D )．as引导比较状语从句, 译作：和…一样。
eg. 20. Australia is as old as time.
21. The woman drank as much as three cups of coffee .
22. We didn’t run as fast as the thief did.
23. My mother was as busy as a bee.
24. The tree is twice as tall as ehat one
E ). as引导方式状语从句, 译作：像；按照
eg. 23. You must do it as I told you to.
24. When in Rome, do as the Romans do.
