JIBTVA is an open access, peer-reviewed, online journal dedicated to all aspects of therapeutic and prophylactic applications of immunology and microbiology.

The aims of the JIBTVA are to advance the understanding and application of specific immunological mechanisms, the role of antigens and antigenic epitopes in eliciting biological responses, immune correlates of protection and activity, strategic regulatory and clinical development considerations, adjuvant development and strategies for use, formulations, delivery and devices associated with various immune and antimicrobial therapies as well as other issues and findings relating to accelerating the discovery and advance development through licensure, distribution and use of efficacious vaccines, immune based therapies (IBTs) and antimicrobials.
